Mount Cook Adventure Centre is a not-for-profit organisation based in Middleton-by-Wirksworth, dedicated to providing access to the outdoors and outdoor activities for all. The purpose-built Centre can accommodate up to 140 guests, plus a further 40 guests in our new eco-friendly Glamping Pods. Unique features of our Centre include an indoor climbing wall, an onsite high-ropes course, a 10m high rooftop terrace, and a zip-wire coming soon for summer 2017!


Mount Cook uses the spectacular natural environment to provide a range of exciting adventurous activities in the great outdoors, including:

If you are a school group, youth group, corporate group, a charity or a group of family and friends – we would love to hear from you! Not only do we provide activity days, evening activity sessions and residential trips of any length, our Centre is also a fantastic venue for conferences, celebrations and even weddings!
