A fabulous day out for book lovers of all ages.
A great indoor book fair with free entry, little second hand book stalls scattered around our beautiful little town. Authors, workshops, kids events and the Wirksworth Street Museum!

10:45am Roz Watkins – Author of the DI Meg Dalton crime series.
11:30am Claire Peacey – Claire takes you through the design elements of a book cover.

For children:
Daniel Henshaw – Author of ‘The Great Snail Robbery’ and ‘The Curious Case
of the Missing Orangutan.’ Bring the kids along to join Daniel for a bit of role play and reading from his books.

Children’s crafts – Design and decorate a book that is not really a book, but a keepsake box.

WELLSPRING CHURCH
FREE Author Talks 12:30, 1:30, 2:30 and 3:30pm
Each author will read from their books, answer questions and chat to you.

Tricia Durdey – Dancer and choreographer who writes short fiction published by Cinnamon Press, Chester University Press, Myslexia, and Matter (Sheffield Hallam University).

Shirley Mann – World War Two is in full swing and Lily Mullins is determined to do her bit for the war effort.

Andy Miller – Author of the Naples of England reads from his first novel.

Phil Whitney – Author of the Italian Trilogy, which follows a family through generations.
