A family-run business, Mountford Stores has been serving the southern end of town for many years.
After a long local campaign, Mountford Stores & the Mangat family recently became the latest location for Wirksworth Post Office.
The sorely missed Post Office, previously in the Town Centre, was finally found a home here and we are all very happy have this valuable commodity returned to our small community. A credit to all involved in the campaign!

On the frequent bus route, and with convenient parking, the general store has everything you would expect from a small shop.
