TOOLS WITH A MISSION (TWAM)

In many countries of the world people have few skills, little education and no means of earning a living.  A switch from aid dependency to self-sufficiency is impossible without help. The charity Tools With A Mission (TWAM) started over 30 years ago and has since then provided this help by collecting and refurbishing tools and equipment no longer required to send overseas to developing countries.

The Rotary Club of Wirksworth has been the local area collector for TWAM since 2013 and in that time has despatched on average 2 full van loads of tools each year to the TWAM refurbishment centre in Coventry, for onward shipment mainly to countries in Africa.
