You can be a Guinness World Record holder by taking part in the attempt to gather the ‘Largest Number of People Dressed as Harry Potter in One Place.’ We are aiming to smash the current record in July 2020.

You can take part whether you are young or old, male of female! All you need to do is gather in Wirksworth on the 5th July with a wand, glasses, Hogwarts school uniform and fake scar on forehead. We will advise on what to wear as we get nearer the date.

The current record is 1080 held by Bandon in Ireland. Can you help bring the record back to the UK?

Wirksworth Wizarding Day’s world record attempt is a fund raiser for the charity Aquabox, who supply water purification kits to disaster zones.

Find out more details and register online for the world record attempt for £1 at https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/wizarding/t-akvmde. Your registration fee will be donated to Aquabox.

After the attempt each registrant will be emailed:
A personalised certificate with your name on it to prove you helped make it happen.
