Constell8 is an Arts Council funded project that aims to connect 8 Derbyshire towns with 8 local artists over 8 months. The project aims to achieve this by a county wide programme of gigs, workshops and artist development. Wirksworth and The Northern Light Cinema are privileged to be hosting some of the only ticketed events off this project featuring some of the best talent from our county.

This first event is headlined by local soul legend Jamie Joseph. Formally signed to RCA on a major deal, Jamie has had music on major cinema soundtracks such as acclaimed director Noel Clarke’s “Brotherhood” and 2017’s “Finding Your Feet” starring Timothy Spall and Joanna Lumley. He has toured the UK extensively and recorded in LA with major record producers. Real UK soul at its finest, not to be missed intimate acoustic performance.

Also on the bill are local close harmony purveyors of pop music, The Herron Brothers. Think Beatles, meets Crowned House, meets The Everly Brothers, on two guitars performed by two actual brothers, The Herron Brothers. These guys have truly mastered the art of playing beautiful original songs as a duo. Not to be missed.
