You will receive a very warm welcome at our 17th century farmhouse. We really understand the value of time away and we will do our very best to make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible.
The accommodation is a private suite with fantastic views over fields. There is a very large bedroom with either a king sized bed. A lovely seating area with a window seat and table. Beautiful en suite shower room with dressing room.
Tea and coffee and freshly baked cake will be provided in your room.
The luxury accommodation has been refurbished and the bathroom refitted. It is beautifully decorated with farrow and ball paints, new carpets and crisp white bed linen.
It is a beautiful farmhouse in a stunning location, elevated in the picturesque Ecclesbourne Valley. The views are spectacular and the steam train can be seen and heard passing along the valley. Walks can be enjoyed straight from the door and the the farm is a 4 minute drive to the small market town of Wirksworth with cafes, pubs and restaurants. It is ideally placed to visit Derbyshires historic buildings, Carsington Water and the other wonderful sights and experiences of the Peak District.
We offer either a cooked breakfast in the dining room or a continental breakfast which you may choose to have in your room if you prefer. We will ask you on arrival what you prefer and what time you would like your breakfast.
We have friendly pigs and chickens and a lovely chocolate labrador called Jesse. Regrettably we cannot accommodate your pets.
We will aim to meet you on arrival but if this is not possible the key will be made available.
There is usually someone around but we are always contactable by telephone.
Parking in the farmyard and access to the house is easy.
We will leave you to enjoy the peace and tranquility. But we love having guests to stay and if you want to chat or spend time with the friendly rare breed, kune kune pigs we are usually around.
